Soybeans contain trypsin inhibitors, which are anti-nutrients that interfere with the digestion of soy protein. Short-term pressure treatment at high temperatures (120-140°C) in a soybean extruder reduces the content of trypsin inhibitors (urease).

The in-house processing of soybeans ensures that consumers of soybean meal retain their nutritional qualities, both proteins and fats.
